Refund Policy

We want you to feel confident subscribing to TechCerta. This Refund Policy explains when and how you can receive a refund for your subscription payments.

1. Free Trial

All TechCerta plans include a 14-day free trial. No credit card is required during the trial period. You will only be charged when you explicitly choose to subscribe to a paid plan after the trial. If you do not subscribe, your access simply ends — no charge is made.

2. Refund Eligibility

We offer a 7-day refund window from the date of each payment. If you are not satisfied with TechCerta and request a refund within 7 days of a charge, we will issue a full refund of that payment — no questions asked.

After 7 days from the payment date, we are unable to offer refunds for that billing period. This policy applies to both monthly subscription charges and seat pack purchases.

3. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, email us at support@techcerta.com with:

  • Your organization name and registered email address
  • The date of the charge you are requesting a refund for
  • A brief reason (optional but appreciated — it helps us improve)

We will process your request within 3 business days. Refunds are returned to your original payment method via Paddle and may take 5–10 business days to appear depending on your bank.

4. Cancellations

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings page. Cancellation stops future charges immediately. You will retain access to TechCerta until the end of your current billing period. We do not offer prorated refunds for unused days in a billing period unless the refund falls within the 7-day window described above.

5. Seat Pack Purchases

Additional seat packs (extra technician seats) are eligible for the same 7-day refund window from the date of purchase. After 7 days seat pack purchases are non-refundable.

6. Exceptional Circumstances

If you experience a significant service outage or technical failure caused by TechCerta that prevents you from using the platform for an extended period, please contact us. We will review each case individually and may offer a credit or refund at our discretion.

7. Payments Processed by Paddle

All TechCerta payments are processed by Paddle, our Merchant of Record. Refunds are issued through Paddle back to your original payment method. If you have a billing dispute, you may also contact Paddle directly, though we encourage you to reach out to us first so we can resolve it quickly.
